VICTORIA ADKINS
Teacher
Victoria Adkins received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine in 2007. She began working in the EDC program and aiding in the classrooms at BCA the September after graduating. In 2010, Miss Adkins began working in the computer lab with Mrs. Marshall, co-teaching kindergarten through 8th grade computer as well as photography and yearbook electives. In 2023, Miss Adkins was asked to put that science degree to use and teach middle school and, although it was hard to leave the computer lab, she decided to do it. She now teaches science to 4th-8th graders, as well as 6th grade Bible and history. Miss Adkins has also been the director of BCA’s Summer Day Camp Program since 2012.
Miss Adkins has loved working with children since she was young and has many years of experience teaching students from preschool through 6th grade at her church’s Awana and Sunday School programs. She loves getting to tell her students about Jesus every day and how valuable they are to Him. Her hope is that all her students will have a personal relationship with Jesus and that they can, in turn, share His love with those around them.
