DEBBIE MARSHALL

Computer Teacher

Mrs. Marshall graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanguard University with a degree in Human Services and has her teaching credential from ACSI. In addition to Mrs. Marshall’s work experience, she has helped organize and counsel at junior high retreats for her church, taught classes for AWANA, and served as an event planner and volunteer counselor to teens in crisis. Mrs. Marshall loves working with young people, giving them required foundation and skill for their future based on a relationship with God.

After 13-plus years in finance Mrs. Marshall left the field to pursue a career in teaching. At the time, Mrs. Marshall had young boys attending Bethany and felt that God was leading her to work with younger children. In her 25-plus years at BCA, Mrs. Marshall taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades before moving into the computer lab.

Mrs. Marshall’s husband, Bob, is a science and health teacher at Marina High School and head baseball coach at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. She has two sons; Nick is an engineer, and Landon is an emergency room RN. She also has two cats and three turtles. Outside of school, Mrs. Marshall loves to read, enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling to Texas to spend as much time as possible with her sons and their families.
