Mellanie Zamora-Han received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Kinesiology from Briar Cliff University in 2020, after earning her Associate of Arts degree in Kinesiology from Cypress College in 2018. She began working at Bethany Christian Academy during the middle of COVID-19, first serving in the daycare program before stepping into her calling as the school’s Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director.

From a young age, Mrs. Zamora-Han knew that God was shaping her passion for sports and teaching into a ministry that would impact students’ lives. She has spent her years at Bethany encouraging students to grow not only in their athletic abilities but also in teamwork, perseverance, and Christ-centered character. In addition to teaching P.E., Mrs. Zamora-Han oversees the Athletic Department at the school, creates engaging lesson plans for a variety of sports, and works closely with families and fellow coaches to build a thriving athletic program.

Outside of school, Mrs. Zamora-Han enjoys playing soccer, working out, trying out new local coffee shops, and spending time outdoors. In 2024, she married her husband, Kai-Syu, and together they love spending time with family and friends.
